Stipends

PTBUN stipends for the FENS Forum Neuroscience 2022 (Paris, France, July 9 – 13, 2022)

Polish Neuroscience Society, PTBUN offers 5 stipends for the participation in the FENS Forum 2022. The stipend amounts to 500 € each, in case the Forum will be held as a physical meeting. In case the FENS Forum will be a virtual meeting, the stipend will cover the registration and abstract handling fees up to 500 €. If the Forum will become a hybrid meeting the stipend will be the amount to the one or the other, depending on the type of participation.

Applications can be submitted until February 15, 2022.

Criteria for selection:

  • PTBUN member with all contributions paid,
  • PhD student or an employee of a Polish university or research institution under the age of 35,
  • the first author of the abstract presented at the FENS Forum.

Stipend holders are selected based on the scientific value of the submitted abstract and the information contained in the application. Only one person from a research unit may receive the PTBUN stipend.

Required documents:

  • CV with a list of publications and conference abstracts,
  • Copy of the abstract submitted to the FENS Forum,
  • Letter of recommendation from the supervisor/scientific tutor,
  • Short description of the importance of the presented results.

Stipends are paid after the conference to the account provided by the stipend holder based on individual certificate of participation in the FENS Forum.

Early registration for the FENS Forum 2022 is from 01/12/2021 to 22/02/2022, 23:59 CET. Details HERE. Please note that you can apply for a travel grant in several places, however, you can only get a grant from one source. People who receive grant from FENS or IBRO will not receive a stipend from PTBUN.
