Krakow School of Interdisciplinary PhD Studies KISD. Doctoral degree, including in the field of medical and health sciences and the discipline of medical or pharmaceutical sciences, enabling studies at the Krakow School of Interdisciplinary PhD Studies (KISD). Training at KISD is provided jointly by: the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN), Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IKiFP PAN), Jerzy Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IF PAN), Aleksander Krupkowski Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMIM PAN) and AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (AGH). Training at KISD offer the PhD Students conditions for pursuing independent research, including neuroscience research conducted outside the Units constituting the PhD School, by implementing an individual research proposal and an individual training program.
